Basement & Laundry Addition - Complete Renovation

Final photos were taken prior to carpet installation, which was scheduled for three weeks after project completion. Baseboards were installed upon our return after the carpet was laid.

Laundry Room Addition

Originally, the basement lacked a dedicated laundry space—appliances were simply placed in a corner. We built a fully enclosed laundry room featuring new plumbing, custom cabinetry, a new countertop, and a separating door for privacy and organization.

Ceiling & Mechanical Area Refinement

The exposed basement ceiling contained years of cluttered utility work. We carefully removed unused wiring and plumbing, thoroughly cleaned the ceiling, and spray-finished it in black for a clean, modern look. Mechanical systems were enclosed and separated from living areas, with multiple custom access panels and a pocket door for functionality and ease of maintenance.

Electrical Overhaul

The basement’s electrical system was fully updated. We removed all existing wiring from the panel, eliminated outdated knob-and-tube wiring, and installed brand new electrical throughout, including 20 new outlets for improved convenience and code compliance.

Framing, Insulation & Finishing Touches

We framed all exterior block walls with 2×4 construction, added an insulated access door beneath the stairs, and built custom shelving for efficient storage. All new walls were designed to create a comfortable, livable environment, bringing warmth and structure to the entire space.
