This kitchen remodeling project in Parma Heights, Ohio, transformed an outdated layout into a modern, highly functional space. Key upgrades included new cabinetry, custom butcher block countertops, vinyl plank flooring, and the addition of a fully equipped kitchen island with new plumbing and electrical. The project also featured custom trim work, updated lighting, and high-end appliance integration.

Demolition & Structural Preparation

Before: The kitchen featured outdated cabinets, countertops, and a closed-off layout that limited functionality.

After: We removed all existing cabinets and countertops and prepared the space for a full renovation, including opening the floor to accommodate new systems.

Flooring Installation – Vinyl Plank Upgrade

We installed durable vinyl plank flooring throughout the kitchen, providing a modern appearance with long-lasting performance and easy maintenance.

Cabinetry & Custom Woodwork

The kitchen was upgraded with new cabinets from Cleveland Cabinets, paired with detailed custom trim work. A standout feature included custom wood matching and staining, carefully blended to match existing 40-year-old wood elements in the home.

Countertops & Appliance Integration

We installed custom-cut butcher block countertops, incorporating an inset stovetop and a pressure switch garbage disposal for convenience and safety. A built-in oven was seamlessly integrated into an existing brick wall, creating a unique focal point.

Kitchen Island Addition – Plumbing & Electrical Upgrades

A major highlight of this remodel was the addition of a custom kitchen island, which required opening the concrete slab to run new plumbing and electrical lines. The island now includes a newly added dishwasher, significantly improving functionality.

Ventilation & Lighting Enhancements

We installed a ceiling-mounted stove exhaust system above the island, along with new drop-down lighting after removing an outdated ceiling chase. The ceiling was then refinished with a texture match for a seamless look.

Backsplash & Finishing Details

To complete the space, we installed a tile backsplash, adding both protection and visual appeal. Every detail—from trim to finishes—was carefully executed to deliver a polished, cohesive final result.
